Latest Beta Patch notes

Since we are so damn close to the release of SWTOR we thought it was only reasonable to start posting patch updates so people could start getting an idea how far the game has come. 
These updates are only a few days old and was released september 27, and we are really down to small tweaks now. Of course there is still bugs, and there will be for years after the game is out, but BioWare is really doing a good job killing all the game breakers. Nice to see boys!

General

  • Players may now toggle their Away From Keyboard status with the /afk command

Classes and Combat General

  • Fixed an issue that caused players to continue along their movement path after being affected by any immobilizing ability.

Bounty Hunter

  • Shoulder Slam now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Jedi Consular

  • Tumult now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Jedi Knight

  • Pommel Strike now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Sith Warrior

  • Pommel Strike now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.
  • Savage Kick now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Smuggler

  • Fixed a bug that would cause players to get stuck in the cover position while still being able to move.
  • Headshot now has no cooldown and its effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.
  • Cheap Shot now has no cooldown and effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Trooper

  • Blitz now has no cooldown and effect on Strong enemies has been significantly reduced.

Crew Skills

  • Reverse-engineered and crafted items will now display the proper quality level when placed in the Galactic Trade Network.

PvP
Warzones

  • Huttball: Fixed a bug that allowed players to score while no longer in possession of the ball.

Missions and NPCs

Republic

  • Burial Grounds: Blood Samples can now be looted by nearby group members for each Rakghoul killed.
  • Distress Call: Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with a door associated with this mission.
  • Hard Bargain: Using ESC to exit the conversation with Altana Thul no longer prevents players from continuing the mission.
  • To Serve the King: Fixed an issue thatmay have caused an Intercom conversation to hang.
Imperial

  • The Mandalorian Killer: Mapnote now displays correctly for the step “Speak to Thendys Noori.”
  • The Trials: Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the Meditation Altar to disappear.
  • The Whispering Dust: Mapnote now displays correctly for the step “Defeat the Ghost Cell Elite.”

Space Combat

  • Power to shields and blasters abilities can now be toggled off after activation without switching abilities.

User Interface

  • Group member nameplate color changed from purple to light blue for members who are not PvP flagged.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused reallocated skill points to not be saved properly after travelling.
  • Fixed a bug that often caused only one player in a phase to receive credit for missions when grouped together in the same phase.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from attacking K’lor’slugs on Korriban because they would sometimes fall below the terrain.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to attempt collection of items from objects and enemies while out of range to receive the item.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from accessing their ships.
  • Fixed a bug where players would occasionally be teleported back to their current location when using elevators, quick-travel or choosing to resuscitate at a medcenter.
  • Fixed a bug where players would occasionally fall through the ground when using elevators, quick-travel or choosing to resuscitate at a medcenter.
  • Fixed a bug related to ground clutter that could cause performance problem.
