SWTOR Tips for Small Guilds Doing Conquests

Guild-Flagships

The Conquest system within SWTOR is a pretty good one in many ways. It’s also a good way to get back into some of that older content and see it all again (or for the first time). However, if you have a small guild, you may have found that it’s just not as easy to do the conquests. Some players feel like guilds with smaller numbers don’t have a chance to compete for the Top 10.

Well, here are a couple of things to know. First, even if you don’t make it in the top 10, doing these conquests is a great way to build guild unity. Secondly, depending on your server, you might have more of a chance than you think at moving up the ranks if you just get a good solid group of people together to commit.

So with that in mind, if you want to try for success with a smaller guild, here are some things to consider:

Remember your alts- Maybe you don’t have very members in your guild but there is a good chance most of you have a lot of alts. With all those free XP weekends, you might even have a lot of high level alts and those are going to help you a lot.

Remember to craft- Most of the crafting missions are repeatable, giving you a lot of opportunity to catch up with ranks on your server.

Follow what the top guilds are doing- Sometimes guilds don’t even try because they assume they will never beat the big dogs. The thing is, all the prizes are the same unless you get first place. So getting 10th or 8th is just as good for your guild as getting 2nd or 3rd. Don’t give up and use the guidance of the top ranking guilds to help you see what to do as well.

Play to your strengths- Every guild will have some things they do better than others. Maybe you’re smaller but you all know each other very well, work together or went to school together, or you are all very dedicated and can spend long hours online achieving your goals. Whatever the strengths are for your guild, use them to help you achieve rankings.

Do you have any tips that you would add to this list? Are you part of a small guild that is trying to rank up with conquests?
