The SWTOR Developers over at BioWare Austin has chosen to delay game update 5.9.3 until October 2, due to game bugs. Hey folks, The team has made the decision to delay the launch of Game Update 5.9.3 to next Tuesday, October 2nd. We have a handful of known issues that we are tracking for the Update which we want to address before it goes live. Unfortunately, we were unable to get them fixed in time for our planned release date tomorrow. Some of the issues we are seeing include: An issue with our Conquest scheduling which will stop it from proceeding as intended. The interface for holocalls not displaying properly. The preview window not activating properly for a variety of item types. In each one of these instances there is a workaround which would not actually block gameplay. Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes: Bounty Hunter Bonus Drops starting tomorrow!
This weekend all Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes players will get bonus drops. These are Similar to the double drops. Every time you do a hard battle you get (or might? We don’t know yet) shards for a bounty hunter. Everyone assumed probably, it’s randomly which shards you get. Like a 1/8 chance to get embo etc. Below is the news: For a limited time, every Light Side and Dark Side Hard Node may also award bonus shards for Bounty Hunters. Next game update for Star Wars: The old Republic will be released on Wednesday Sept 26. The game will also be running double XP from October 2nd till October 9th. The Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes dev are updating the in game Pack Probability information to include a pack they haven’t run for a while, the Ship Ability Materials Mega-Pack. They don’t have any concrete plans to bring this pack back to the store in the next few weeks but they want the information to be available in the event that they do bring it back in the future. SWTOR : PTS changes to Vandin Huttball map.
Eric Musco have informed the community that SWTOR developers will be making some changes to Vandin Huttball map. Hey folks, We are aiming to try to have a new PTS patch this week, to be deployed tomorrow. It is possible it will slip to next week, but I will let you know for sure tomorrow. We will have mirrored playtests from last week, if it goes live this week. Here are some of the changes we are making based on your feedback: Made some environmental changes to the map to make it feel a bit less “cluttered.” Removed the “box stack” in the center catwalks and replaced them with forcefields. This gives more visibility across the map as well. Throw the Huttball will now stay in the first pop-up slot if you also have the Gravity Grapple ability. This should address concerns for players who keybind the Throw the Huttball ability….

THere is your chance to playtest the new hutball warzone.
