They’ve got your back! But it’s not until you are greeted by that ever-annoying voice at the ship’s entrance that you remember your ship droid. He does so much hard work, even adding extra padding to the seats in your ship yet so many forget to build affection with the lonely ship droid. It’s easy as pie! Cultural Artifacts: Rank 1 Polished Meteorite (200 Credits) Rank 2 Dubrillion Lizard Egg (600 Credits) These are available at your local companion gift vendor…

Reddit User Says: “I’ve silenced C2-N2 and You Can Too”

Who else is tired of hearing C2-N2? If this droid is driving you nuts like so many others players, then there might be a solution short of decommissioning him. Remember this video we brought you the other day, “SWTOR Horror”? Well, you don’t have to end like the player in the video. There is another option and it’s a pretty simple fix. This Reddit user explains: All you have to do is replace this file with an empty file by the same name. ·        swtor_en-us_cnv_comp_chars_rep_1.tor ·        (swtor_en-us_cnv_comp_chars_imp_1.tor if you’re an imp) It appears the above file contains all the voice acting done by your companions based on your location. Like when you leave the base on hoth your companion says, “Hoth, it’s so damn cold blah blah blah blah blah” It was cool while leveling, it’s annoying now. It also has the chatter from c2-n2 every time you run past…

The droid then used the ship to rescue the Jedi Exile from Darth Sion, and aided her in her quest to stop the Sith Triumvirate. Know your Lore: HK-47

HK-47 was a Hunter-Killer assassin droid and Jedi hunter constructed by Revan towards the end of the Mandalorian Wars to kill those who Revan believed would destabilize the galaxy. Revan gave up the droid shortly before his redemption, and HK-47 went from owner to owner, many of whom he slew himself, before being unwittingly reunited with his master. The droid went on to help Revan destroy the Star Forge. Later, HK-47 was damaged, and his schematics were stolen by the droid G0-T0 to produce HK-50 units. Five years later, the Jedi Exile repaired HK-47, who went on to defeat G0-T0 with help from HK-50 droids he persuaded to join the Exile. Four millennia later, HK-47 was found on the planet Mustafar and given a new body. HK-47 turned on those that had created it for him, who were forced to disable HK-47’s new droid army and the factory producing them….
