The first expansion pack to DICE’s popular Star Wars: Battlefront, Outer Rim, was sure to be a major hit with players, some of whom had decried a certain lack of depth plaguing the original release. Meant to address just that issue, Outer Rim brought tons of new content, including new locations like Jabba the Hutt’s palace and the factories of Sullust. The game has always done a great job in the authenticity department, placing players smack in the middle of the Star Wars universe, and through Outer Rim, that has been taken to a new level. In addition to graphical perfection, the creators of the game have been extremely keen on details, strewing several canon-references over the new locations. Star Wars: Battlefront – New Easter Egg Found In Twilight On Hoth Map
There’s an Easter Egg in the new map for Star Wars: Battlefront, Twilight on Hoth. The new map was added with the February update and it gives some hints that EA might have listened to the fans and decided to add tauntauns to the game. Unlike other Easter eggs found in the game, this one is a full size image, which hints that it might mean it’s coming in the game as a mount. It’s probably one of the most asked for items in the game. It’s a frozen, full size render of a Tautaun and one user got this on video so if you haven’t seen it yourself yet, here you go. What do you think? Could it be a sign of things to come? Is it just a little novelty for players who pay close attention while they’re roaming the frigid lands of Hoth?

How cool is this? You know how we live Easter eggs and other little gems in SWTOR. Here we have a Yavin 4 Stronghold goodie you may not have seen yet. Most Star Wars fans are familiar with the iconic scene from Star Wars IV just before they go to attack the Death Star. Have a look and let us know what you think. SWTOR Easter Egg in Seeker Droid Mission
If you’ve done this mission, did you overlook it? There might be a little hidden easter egg here on this Seeker Droid mission. Derzelaz from Reddit posted a screenshot. It’s edited so you can easily see it here in the top right corner. Do you see it? A golden protocol droid and an astromech droid.

The Fanatical Swordsman has found something really cool that we had to share with you as well. It’s a really great SWTOR Easter Egg. Have you ever noticed that there is a body floating outside the republic fleet? A morbid easter egg in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I saw this first time back in beta, in the same spot, but I could have SWORN it was C2-N2. Wishful thinking, I suppose. As someone who collected frozen corpses in EVE Online, I feel a desperate need to scoop that. I was always wondering why the game told me i couldn’t use my escape pod right now, that must have been the player that discovered this bug on accident while looking for the john.
BioWare Easter Egg in SWTOR
Just when you feel like game developers have lost their spirit of fun, a group like the team at BioWare comes along and does something neat. In this case, it’s a hidden “Easter egg” in SWTOR’s macrobinocular missions. Old school gamers will get a kick out of this one if you haven’t seen it already. The mission “All The Pieces” has a part you have to jump across moving garbage vehicles and speeders. If you felt some déjà vu going on during this part, there might be a good reason for it. If this part of the quest feels strangely familiar to you, it’s not just you. The mission is actually a reference to the Ord Mantell Junkyard mission in the old N64 game Shadows of the Empire! Jawas gone wild! Hooded little creatures invade Xenoanalyst boss encounter!
It was supposed to be yet another Xenoanalyst hard mode operation for the Gree World event that ends soon… Most of the Alpha Strike Force guild group had never done this fight before and was in the process of figuring out its mechanics. The operation was on its third try and controlling the additional monsters (i.e. adds) attacking the group during the main fight was becoming the main issue.

These are the types of things that make an ordinary game extraordinary. When we find little prizes like this in SWTOR, it just reminds of us how much time and effort actually goes into making a game of this caliber. Sometimes those little extra touches make all the difference in the experience for the gamer and that’s how we feel about this. Here’s a fun little Easter egg in the game. BioWare Sneak “Night At The Roxbury” Scene Into Star Wars: The Old Republic?
Pop culture references done right in a video game can be loads of fun. If there’s any company who can pull this off the right way, it just might be Bioware. While it’s not completely new news, there is rumor going around that Bioware have snuck a scene from “A Night at the Roxbury” into SWTOR. There have been some videos going around YouTube that supposedly depict this. It’s a scene from the game in a cantina with some characters who look like they are acting out the SWTOR version of “A Night at the Roxbury” skit. I am pretty sure I completely missed this in the game as I was busy leveling and writing about the game but it’s really cool.
