Founder’s medal and title awarded to paying subscribers

We are a few days late with the story, but have you been playing SWTOR since beta or since launch? Do you enjoy the game and plan to stick around? BioWare has recently announced they have something fun for those who decide to renew their game subscription for another month and stick around. There will be a “Founder’s” medal and in-game title awarded to eligible paying subscribers. This is a fun little addition to anyone playing the game anyway and especially to those who enjoy titles, achievements and those little unique tributes in an MMO. This is an exclusive title that will not be available to anyone in the future and a great thank you from BioWare for being there from the beginning. Yesterday, BioWare writes in SWTOR news: “We would like to thank each and every one of you for helping to make Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ one…

EA ‘Couldn’t Be More Happy’ With The Old Republic Launch

Now that we are coming up on a month since the official launch of SWTOR, how are you feeling about the game? Are you playing it? Are you happy with it? Are you 50 yet? While many gamers are still exploring the worlds of SWTOR, EA says they couldn’t be more happy with the launch. In a story at Industry Gamers, we hear more about how EA is happy with the launch. They report: Star Wars: The Old Republic has gotten off to a good start with more than a million users already in the game as of Christmas week. The first ever MMO launch from BioWare hasn’t gone as smoothly as some would like, however, with some players experiencing trouble connecting to servers and others suffering from bugs and performance issues. That said, EA COO Peter Moore is thrilled with the response to the game so far. Speaking to IndustryGamers…

The ad is on YouTube and we are happy to bring it right here to you for your viewing pleasure. It’s a fun little video. It will definitely grab the attention of anyone who has yet to play the game or even those few who have not heard of it yet (have they been living under a rock?) So check it out and tell us…

When Will You Get SWTOR Early Access Invite?

Yesterday was the big day for a good number of excited SWTOR fans. For others, the time has nearly arrived but they must wait just a bit longer to find out when they will get their early access to the game because the early access invites are coming in waves, as Stephen Reid explains.  Senior Online Community Manager Stephen Reid posted on the official forums (which are back up, by the way) about how the waves of invites for SWTOR will go out. Basically, it will work in the order in which your preorders went in (and were registered with the code). The first people to register their preorder copies will be the first people to gain access to the game. You are ordered according to when you input the preorder code, not when you actually preordered the game so unfortunately, if you were one of those first people to…
