The myth about force users being the only ones who can operate them comes from the fact that as the blade is completely weightless, it is challenging (if not impossible) to judge the position of the blade in an extended or complicated fight.<br /><br />I think people are being a little too critical about this film. It was a labor of love, made by people with nowhere near the resources of those who made the actual films. For what it is, I&#39;d say it&#39;s kriffing well done. Yes, the jedi are powerful warriors, but given their waning connection with the force, a specialist in guerrilla combat such as Boba Fett would have a distinct advantage in a place like Kashyyk. That being said, it would have been nice to see how he dealt with at least a couple jedi who had their wits about them.<br /><br />All told, I was pretty impressed.
