LEGO Star Wars Sith Fighter Knights of the Old Republic

There is a really cool project over on LEGO Ideas that we want to tell you about. STAR WARS – Sith Fighter – Knights of the Old Republic is a project we very much want to see happen. It currently has 16 days left and nearly 700 supporters at the time we write this. Here is some info from the description: The Sith fighter was a starfighter that formed the bulk of Darth Revan and Darth Malak’s space forces during the Jedi Civil War, as portrayed in the videogame STAR WARS – Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR), nearly 4000 years before Darth Vader’s rising to power. Revan (soon to be included in this set has a minifig) is the main protagonist of Knights of the Old Republic. As the Dark Lord of the Sith and Master of Darth Malak, Revan was led into a trap where a Jedi…

Moraband new official name of sith homeworld?

Here is something strange. In Star Wars Insider #148 that the name of the Sith homeworld is called Moraband. This kind of puts an end to the Expanded Universe-derived Korriban planet name. Unless Moraband is referring to the homeworld of ancient Sith Lords, and not the Sith species (Korriban). This will be kind of strange though since the ancient Sith Lords who discovered and enslaved the Sith species were fallen Jedi who caused the Hundred-Year Darkness around 7000 BBY. They weren’t born on one planet (Moraband). They were many Jedi from many walks of life who followed Ajunta Pall in his quest to use the dark side. Of course this is just all EU stuff, so as far as TCW is concerned it’s irrelevant. But if you’re trying to somehow keep the old EU alive with that sort of rationalizing, it doesn’t really work.. The Sith Lords of old were…

Intergalctic Intel: Sith Warrior

Intergalactic Intel: Sith Warrior My brother had an unusual sense of pride that should have been mine.“They loved it.”“They hated it.” We were both right.“What because some people don’t understand that the defintion of stealth doesn’t mean going invisible? Would they prefer you used the word…surreptitiousness?”“You just looked that up on thesaurus.com!”“Don’t let it get to you. You have 6 more classes to do.”“5.” I corrected him. “Sith Warrior comes out this week.” Welcome back to Intergalactic Intel. As always remember to take this with a truck load of salt, as this is still beta and much can change from now till release. Also remember these reviews are from levels 1-16, so the classes aren’t fully fleshed out as a whole yet. Without further ado, The Sith Warrior. Story:As the Sith Warrior you start on the Sith Home planet of Korriban. Home to the Sith Academy, a place we have…

The Guild Sphere: Lost Tribe of Sith

It’s Thursday and time for a new guild interview. This time the Sith PVP guild, Lost Tribe of Sith, Took the the time to answer our question. The guild is in the EST Timezone and is still accepting members. Check it out below.Where did your guilds name come from?Actually, it is from a piece of official Star Wars lore. I was reading about the Lost Tribe of Sith that crashed on a planet in wild space and decided to rebuild a new civilization. So I found it interesting, and the perfect way to Role Play what we wanted to do. We wanted a new system of rules and ranks, but wanted it to fit into TOR Lore without making it seem like we made our own tribe from nothing in a day. So we are using the time before launch to make our lore and explain how our tribe connects with the main…

SW:TOR -Will Darth and Lord Be Player Titles?

A long awaited question was finally answered; will Darth and Lord be player-achievable titles and if so how rare will they be?  Yes. And fairly rare from what we can tell.  Daniel Erickson, Lead Writer for Star Wars: The Old Republic answered the anticipated question on the official SW:TOR forums just a few days ago.  The post reads: Hey Folks, Darth and Lord are ranks in the Old Republic time period and while they represent an increasingly smaller percentage of overall Sith, they are clearly not at as rare as only having one or two running around in the galaxy. There are already numerous Darths (Baras, Malgus) we’ve seen who are not on the Dark Council. It will likely not come as a surprise to most people that the titles of Darth and Lord are story-based rewards (one does not become a Darth by grinding frog-dogs) as are Master, etc….
