SWTOR: Andronikos, Risha, and Corso return missions released in 5.7

Game update 5.7 sees the return of Andronikos, Risha, and Corso for Inquisitors and Smugglers. But there is a catch. Unless you finished Unfortunately, there isn’t much other than a cutscene with some dialogues. You will need to have finished Knights of the Eternal Throne before the new mission will appear in your Companions & Contacts.  To get Andronikos you need to be  Inquisitor, and to get Risha/Corso you need to play Smuggler, or the missions won’t appear. Below is the official statement on this: My reunion with Andronikos was | 01.23.2018, 05:50 PM Hey folks, There is a known issue with the Andronikos, Risha, and Corso return missions released in 5.7. Players who meet certain conditions are granted an additional mission that they cannot complete. This issue occurs for Players who: Had previously romanced one of the returning characters (Andronikos, Risha, or Corso). Romanced Theron after the release of KOTFE. Chose to…

SWTOR: Pending Bug Fixes – GU 5.2.2

Here is a list of the bug fixes we can expect with Bioware has posted a list of bug fixes we can expect for patch 5.2.2. Hey folks, One of the things Keith mentioned in the Roadmap is that we want to work on enhancing Communication with you, especially around the future. As a part of that plan, approximately 2 weeks before each Game Update I will post a thread with a list of currently planned and confirmed bug fixes. Once that list is live I will post updates every few days as I get more information. This thread will become a living list of bug fixes that are slated for the next Game Update. A few important caveats: These are not the patch notes. Features, highlights, and the comprehensive list of bug fixes will be missing. This is not a comprehensive list of every bug fix in the patch. These…

Glitch in SWTOR That Will Trigger Your OCD

Out of the vault of “You Had ONE Job, Bioware”, we have more game glitches. Sometimes the glitch is just a physical issue and it doesn’t really affect the play of the game, but merely the appearance. Some people can overlook this or even laugh at it, while others find it so distracting they can’t even play. Whichever side of the fence you fall on, it’s safe to say you can appreciate on some level what this player has captured. yodacoder posted the images to imgur so you can see for yourself but be warned, once you see it, you can’t unsee it: You had ONE job! (SWTOR) Seriously, what is happening here? It’s in the Republic Fleet space station and if you’re not noticing it right away, here’s a hint: take a look at the flooring. Do you know of other glitches like this in the game? Are you the…

SWTOR Game Update 4.4: Known Issues

With a new game update comes new bugs. Here are a list of known issues with game update 4,4: The Collections unlock button does not function within the Collections menu for Fallen Defender’s armor set and the Ginx companion. The description for the Plunderer Pack within the Cartel Market does not list “Weapon Tuning” from the list of available item categories that are drawn from. The source listed on the tooltip pop-up of the inventory icon for the Plundered TC-16 Spewie Display Pedestal decoration is “Alliance Supply Crate” instead of “Cartel Market: Plunderer Pack.” The inventory icon for the Iknayid pet reward from the Eternal Championship does not match the in game pet model. Unavailable Cartel Market items are listed in Collections. With the exception of the first one, these are all issues with the cartelmarket. Apparently BioWare  are OK with shipping with issues they know about to the CM…

Lost legendary player status in SWTOR

Eric Musco have posted some clarification on official forums regarding the lost legendary player status, that apparently have a bug. Lost legendary player status | 03.11.2016, 03:25 PM Hey folks, We have seen quite a few reports of players who have lost their Legendary Status following Game Update 4.2 on Tuesday. First, a reminder of what Legendary Status is. This system was put in with Knights of the Fallen Empire as a reward for players who had completed all 8 Class Stories all the way through Act 3. We wanted to make sure that their efforts were rewarded, beyond just Achievements alone. Along with the KotFE launch, we also introduced Start at 60 tokens. Unfortunately, there was a bug where sometimes a character made from a token would grant a completion for Legendary Status. This was not intended as that character never played through and completed Act 3. With Game Update…

Bioware adresses Romance and Courting Gift Bugs in SWTOR

The SWTOR Developers over at BioWare have finally shed some light on the companion romance and courting gift bugs that’s currently in the game. Dear TaitWatson: The Companion Romance System NEEDS to be fixed. | 01.07.2016, 07:41 PM Hey everyone, We have seen quite a few reports about the Romance system being broken, and I wanted to clarify a few things. A number of the issues being reported are not, in fact, bugged. The big one is Iresso. While Iresso is not alone in not acknowledging your romance, he has become the name surrounding the whole situation. In this case, there is a bug – the romance variables for some of the pre-KOTFE companions are being improperly assessed, leading to the appearance that they aren’t romanced even if they are. This fix is scheduled for 4.1 but is not finalized yet. What should have occurred is that when you completed…

KOTFE Level 60 character creation is (Still) bugged

Level 60 character creation is still bugged, so Tait Watson posted an updated on the official forums regarding refunds on the Level 60 tokens. KOTFE Level 60 character creation is bugged | 11.13.2015, 11:38 AM Hey everyone! Over the past few days we’ve seen a marked increase in the number of players submitting Start@60 tickets related to getting their tokens returned, including a number of people who deleted level 61-65 characters expecting to get a token back. So, to reiterate what Eric explained, but also to try and clarify what to expect, here’s a list of things to consider: If you are subscribed using a 7-day Referral, you are not eligible for KotFE, nor do you receive a Start@60 token. If you convert to a full subscription, KotFE, 2 additional character slots and a Start@60 token will then be granted to your account. If you use the token and level…

SWTOR Instant Level 60 Tokens now working

Eric Musco just informed the  SWTOR community, that issues with Instant level 60 tokens have been resolved, and they will be back at the cartel market shortly. Hey folks, The issues that many of you were experiencing when making a start at 60 character should now be resolved. We will be restoring the start at 60 token to the Cartel Market shortly. There are multiple different scenarios that your character and start at 60 tokens could be in, I want to cover each of them and what it means for you. I made a start at 60 character, but instead it created a level 1 character and put me on the fleet. I then deleted that character, but my start at 60 token was not restored. You should now see your tokens restored to you when you are at Character select. You can create a level 60 normally now. I…

KOTFE Level 60 character creation is bugged

it’s no secret that many players have experienced problems, when trying to create a level 60 character. Players have been reporting this on the forums for some days now, and Eric Musco took the forums explaining what the developers are doing about it. Check it out: KOTFE Level 60 character creation is bugged | 11.04.2015, 03:44 PM Hey folks, We wanted to get some information out about the issue you are experiencing. First off, there is a bug that can occur when you make a level 60 character, it instead creates it as a level 1 and places you on the fleet. Without going too technical, basically the game is moving faster than your account is, which is creating the issue. Here are a few important notes to be aware of: Go slow – When going through the character creation process take your time, watch the Sacrifice trailer that starts…

TOR TV: The Appropriate Way to Respond to a Game-breaking Bug

The Haunted Ship Here’s a fun little bug from 2012 that some of you might remember. “As it turns out, there’s a bug that’s existed in Star Wars: The Old Republic for some time now. If you’re a Jedi and try getting onto a Smuggler’s ship, you’ll be trapped in this ghost instance where you can’t leave or do anything, but everyone can still see you. You’re basically a ghost, haunting peoples’ ships. Annoying at the time, but hilarious in retrospect.” We find this entertaining for two reasons. One: it reminds us of the early days of SWTOR and two: we love seeing fun videos of people being silly and making the most of a bad situation. For those of you who remember, this bug would trap you inside the ship, putting you into other people’s ships and you could not escape until later when they released a patch. Escape…

Game Update 2.9 Known Issues

With a new gameupdate comes new bugs to the game. Here is a list of the known issues so far. Luckily there are no game-breaking bugs a this time. Players do not receive double Prestige on previously placed items after conquering a planet. Decorations can get bugged if the layout is switched while a Decoration is present. Workaround: If you find you have two Decorations occupying the same area, leave the Stronghold and then re-enter. A guild will still be displayed in the Leaderboards if it is disbanded while controlling a planet. Emissive effects on Decorations are not rendered in the Preview Panel. Guild names are not updated on the Leaderboard if they are changed during a Conquest event. Companions are missing the Mission Icon above their head if they are summoned in a Stronghold. Players can get stuck in a Decoration they were situated on if they return to…

When Game Bugs become Permanent Features

It’s happened before… a bug exists in a game and people like it so much, it becomes an intended feature. Such is not always the case with SWTOR. Remember way back when you could message someone on their main and when they logged an alt, continued messages would go to their alts? A lot of people loved the feature but others worried it never allowed you to “hide” when playing the game. Bioware later removed it, stating it was a bug but many players wished they would bring it back with a toggle feature so if you didn’t want it, it wasn’t forced on you but those who liked it could use it. Another bug discovered just a couple weeks ago that was popular was the character select screen bug. In this bug, it allowed a different view from the character select screen- one that showed the character from about…

SWTOR Game Update 2.8: Spoils of War Consolidated Bugs List

With a new game update comes new bugs. Here a Consolidated Bugs List of all the know bugs in the game right now. If you have found any that is not on this list, remember to report it to BioWare, either ingame or on the official forums. Post #1 TaitWatson Oversight: NM DF bosses still have same HP | 06.11.2014, 12:26 PM QUOTE Death_By_Smiley The Nightmare Buff removed the increased damage. It however did not remove the extra HP. Frankly, I’d almost prefer it would stay this way. However, this is, by definition, and oversight, as the nightmare buff was supposed to affect HP. I’ll send this along to the team to see what’s going on. Thanks! Post #2 TaitWatson Ajunta Pall‘s Mask clipping | 06.11.2014, 12:25 PM QUOTE PavSalco At least in the preview my beard goes through Ajunta’s mask that does not hide it at all. Can any person that equipped…

Known In-Game Issues: Updated December 4th, 2013

Only 1 of these GS bugs is seriously affecting gameplay on a mechanical level. The rest are tooltips or cosmetic. Galactic Starfighter General When in Galactic Starfighter all audio can completely turn off, the issue is resolved as soon as you leave Galactic Starfighter. Attempting to change graphic settings while dead may prevent players from being able to queue for respawn successfully. Consolidated Bugs List

With a new major game update, comes lots and lots of new bugs. Here is a list of the stuff that the BioWare developers are aware of. Honestly I expected worse or more bugs with this game update, considering how buggy the PTS was, so I am fairly happy about the patch so far! Post 1 Source CourtneyWoods Unintended Patch Download | 10.02.2013, 09:38 AM Hey everyone, I have an update for you. Unfortunately, if you started downloaded the 12 gig patch on Monday, you will have to finish that download. There were multiple different builds that were incorrectly deployed that afternoon and you will have to download the 12 gig download to get the up to date version of the game. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to those affected. I know this isn’t the ideal solution but this is the only safe fix to the problem other…
