Scheduled maintenance and Patch 2.2.3

Just a heads up that BioWare will be taking down the servers next Tuesday in order to implement Patch 2.2.3. we should see the Gree event come back after the maintenance, and it should be scaled to 55. Check out the official announcement below: On July 23rd, all game servers, SWTOR.com, and the launcher will be unavailable as we perform scheduled maintenance. Game Update 2.2.3 will be implemented during this downtime. Details are as follows: Date: Tuesday July 23rd, 2013 Duration: 4 hours Time: 3AM PDT (10AM UTC) to 7AM PDT (2PM UTC) During maintenance, all updates and additional information will be posted on our Twitter account. Clarification on Patch Notes for 2.2.2

In the patch notes for 2.2.2 it is stated that Bioware has made ”Multiple environmental art changes have been made across the galaxy”’.  Some users expressed concern and questions over this and it was brought up on the official forums by user tumpai in order to find out more about this change and how significant it would be. 2.2a Patch Notes

Patch 2.2a was deployed today, during scheduled maintenance. Below are the patch notes: Items and Economy The Advanced Black-Yellow Fortitude Crystal and SE Black-Green Color Crystal no longer have a vendor value. Encrypted Datacubes will no longer provide a Credit Boom reward option. The Major Experience Boost reward option from Encrypted Datacubes is now the Bind on Pickup version. Apparently there was a credit exploit going on were people were vendor selling the Pre-Order and Razor crystals for credits, then claiming it back via Collections system. Hotfixed today.

SWTOR Lack of “Real” Game Updates

We’ve been writing here about Game Update 2.2 as well as the news that more features and additions are coming in the summer for SWTOR but there are many complaints coming in from players who are just not happy with the content BioWare is pushing out. The argument is that these “updates” don’t really contain any quality new game content and most consist of bug fixes and cosmetic changes here and there.
