1.3.5 Patch Notes, August 7, 2012

  Servers are back up so it’s time to enjoy your new pet + 25 black hole commendations for server transfer rewards. Below are this weeks patch notes. No news on upcoming events, but I would not expect much before the game goes Free to play either. I find the  Legacy nerfs quite ridiculous in the patch. I guess BioWare is catering to the casual crowd and the people who just want to play the 8 stories without having to grind levels. And I guess that’s understandable. 1.3.4 Patch Notes July 24, 2012

Servers are back up after some Scheduled Maintenance today. The most important fix must be the Warzone group frames bug.   Playing with friends became an exercise in someone counting down in vent, “Ok, click in 3…2…1…”. Another interesting “fix ” is this:  Soa’s orbs, lightning balls, and mind traps no longer grant social points. And this is what happens when you abuse a mechanic, people. 1.3.4 Patch Notes General Players can now use vehicles on Coruscant in the large areas of the Black Sun, Old Galactic Market, The Works, and the Jedi Temple districts. Classes and Combat > General All class “stun break” abilities now properly remove blind effects. For example, the blind effect caused by a Sorcerer’s Backlash skill can now be broken with each class’s “stun break” ability.   As always BioWare took this Tuesday to path the servers. Not much to report other then some server stabilityupdates, that hopefully will reduce the lag we have experienced lately. With the HK trailer released yesterday I was really hoping they might surprise us with a world event or even the quest chain for the HK companion, but ohh well. 1.3.1 patch notes – 7/3/2012

Servers are back up after this weeks maintenance. Many people speculated about a 4th of July event, but looking through the patch notes, it’s not the case. If you take in mind that 4th of July only is relevant in the states, it isn’t that hard to understand why they choose another date for next event. Below are the patch notes: Group Finder The Group Finder no longer displays multiple “Travel Now” dialogs when the group searches for a replacement while a player has the “Travel Now” dialog open already. Categories that player has not queued for no longer appear in the “Queued For:” tooltip. The Group Finder button is no longer visible when a player logs out of a higher-level character and back in to a character that is lower than level 10 (and therefore unable to use the Group Finder). Servers are back up, and the Augment bug is fixed. this is the second unscheduled maintenance downtime we have had since the release of patch 1.3. Patch notes below:   1.3.0b Patch Notes 6/29/2012 Items Augment slots in items crafted before 1.3 that have not been manually upgraded by players are now the appropriate tier based on the level of the item (if no augments are installed) or the level of the augment that is currently installed in the augment slot.

Patch Notes 1.3.0a – 6/28/2012

  Severs will be down June 28th, 2012.. No wait delay that… no wait, servers will be down we Apologies for the confusion. I donw and up the went. Servers ARE back up now though and a small patch has been applied. 1.3.0a Patch Notes 6/28/2012 Group Finder Leaving a Group Finder group where all other members have disconnected will no longer cause players to be temporarily locked out of Group Finder. Flashpoints and Operations will no longer occasionally reset and eject players who have recently used Group Finder for a replacement member. PvP Ballistic and Knockback effects no longer occasionally de-sync the character’s location, which could cause characters to not interact properly with the world (such as being able to be hit by melee attacks when the character appeared to be out of range).   All servers are up and ready for Game Update 1.3: Allies. This update brings many many new features to SWTOR including the much debate Group Finder tool and Legacy Perks! This Game Update will also include an update to the Alderaan Warzone, Adaptive Gear, and more.   Highlights Group Finder is now available! Players can use this feature to find groups for Flashpoints and Operations! New Legacy perks are now available! 1.2.7b Patch Notes 19-6-2012

Servers was down for a short maintenance today,  and as always BioWare took the time to patch the game. Today is more a tweak then a real patch though, as BioWare only decreased  the maximum number of simultaneous players on the Imperial and Republic Fleets. This is a pretty good move if you ask me as I notice my framerate drop from ~50fps to ~19fps while on fleet with 250+ people.  I hope this just implies more instances though.  Coming from having 4 people on my fleet at peak times,  100 people+  seem like a party! And if there were 6 instances of 100, thats 6 parties! 1.2.7 Patch Notes – 6/12/2012

It’s Tuesday and BioWare had another servers maintenance. Today is also a really interesting day, ad BioWare starts the server transfers, but we will ocver that in a story shortly. Regarding the patch notes, this one is imo the most important: “The Customer Service ticket notification icon no longer blinks occasionally when no notification is available” Finally!
