Try out SWTOR at New York Comic Con

We previously wrote about all the Star Wars events and guest attending to this years New York Comic Con, but yesterday BioWare posted an official update regarding Star Wars: The Old Republic presence there.

Players who come by the booth will have the opportunity to try out both the Alderaan and Huttball Warzones. New York Comic-Con attendees will also have the chance to play through some of the Origin Worlds content on the showfloor. In addition, three separate panels will be held to give fans and medium more detailed information.

Those who come by the booth will have the opportunity to experience both the Alderaan and Huttball Warzones. New York Comic-Con attendees will also have the chance to play through some of our Origin Worlds content on the showfloor.

If your not able to attend the the official avent, BioWare will be holding a Meet and greed on Wednesday, October 12th 2011:

The BioWare team will be in New York all next week getting ready to showcase The Old Republic at New York Comic Con, but before that, we like to prepare ourselves with a little meetin’ and a little greetin’. Here are the details:
Wednesday, October 12th 2011
8-11PM
District 36
29 West 36th Street, New York, New York
Some light food and (ahem) heavy drinks will be provided, as well as an opportunity to play the game. We’ll have a couple stations available to play the Origin Worlds of the class of your choice, so if you haven’t yet gotten the chance to play The Old Republic and you live around New York, this is it! Obviously we can’t guarantee that everyone who shows up will be able to play, but at the very least you can always peer over another player’s shoulders and critique their playing, right?
Capacity is at the club’s discretion, meaning we can’t necessarily promise that you’ll get in, depending on how many of you show up. Come a little before 8PM, stay and chat with us, and get ready for NYCC in style!
